Brandon Wong created the FogSonification as part of the Art+Fog Collective to translate weather data into music. Using real measurements of cloud cover, sunlight, and daily solar cycles, the system transforms patterns in the sky into three-part musical compositions. Sunrise and sunset become special musical moments, and the timing of the notes follows the rhythm of the actual day, letting you hear the changing atmosphere as a soundscape.
